We've hidden pumpkins all over our website. Count them and win a £100 hotel voucher

Our houses have dressed up for Halloween. Have a look round our website, count every pumpkin you can find, and send us your total. The closest guess wins a £100 voucher for the Grand Central Hotel in Belfast.

How to enter

• Count the pumpkins in the pictures on our website.
• Send us your total by direct message, to Simpson Developments on Facebook or @simpsondevelopments on Instagram.
• One guess per person. Only your first one counts.
• Entries close at 11pm on Sunday 1 November 2026.
• Open to UK residents aged 18 or over.

Please keep your number out of the comments. We'd hate for anyone to copy your homework.

Where to look

Start on our new developments page and work through each development, its house types and their photo galleries. Beech Hill Square, Castlegate, Chichester Park, Harbison Park and Kirby's Meadow have all gone a bit orange this week.

Some pumpkins are easy to spot. Others take a bit more looking: on a window sill, behind a plant pot, half hidden by a car.

A few things to save arguments later:

• Each picture counts once, even if you see it on more than one page.
• Reflections don't count.
• Pictures on our news page, including the one at the top of this post, don't count.
• Our count is the one that decides it.

The prize

A Grand (re)Treat: a £100 gift voucher for the Grand Central Hotel, Belfast. How you spend it is up to you.

When we'll announce the winner

We'll message the winner on Monday 2 November and post on Facebook and Instagram that the prize has been won. We won't name them.

Terms and conditions

1. The promoter is Simpson Developments Ltd, 111 Templepatrick Road, Ballyclare, Co. Antrim BT39 9RQ.
2. Open to residents of the UK aged 18 or over. Simpson Developments staff, their families and anyone involved in running the competition can't enter.
3. To enter, send a direct message to Simpson Developments on Facebook or Instagram with the number of pumpkins you've counted. One entry per person. Only your first guess counts.
4. Entries close at 23:00 on Sunday 1 November 2026. Late entries won't count.
5. The correct total is the number of pumpkins in the images on simpsondevelopments.co.uk, as counted by Simpson Developments when entries open. Pictures on the news page, including this competition's own blog post, don't count. Each picture counts once, even if it appears on more than one page. Reflections don't count. Our count is final.
6. The entrant whose guess is closest to the correct total wins. If two or more entrants are equally close, the winner will be drawn at random from them.
7. The prize is one £100 gift voucher for the Grand Central Hotel, Belfast. The voucher is subject to the hotel's own terms and expiry date. There's no cash alternative. If the voucher becomes unavailable, we may offer a prize of equal value.
8. We'll contact the winner by direct message on Monday 2 November 2026 and announce on our Facebook and Instagram pages that the prize has been won, without naming them. If the winner doesn't reply within 7 days, we'll pick the next closest guess. On request, we'll give the winner's first name and county, with their permission.
9. We'll only use your name and message to run this competition.
