Ballyclare-based Simpson Developments generously donated £15,000 to Northern Ireland Hospice, helping to provide specialist palliative care in the local Ballyclare area, as well as in Hospice units and in homes across Northern Ireland.
Not only has Simpson Developments supported Hospice financially. Director Margaret Simpson has also volunteered for Hospice for many years. Margaret said,
“I am very committed to the work of this charity as I have been involved in chairing a number of fundraising events over the years including coffee mornings, luncheons, fashion shows, black tie gala dinners and door to door collections. I also had the privilege of working as a volunteer in the Ballyclare area and I wish to continue to help them, as they help our local community.”
The Hospice provides specialist care to children, young people and adults with life-limiting illness. It’s aim in both the adult and children’s service is to provide the best quality of life for patients and their families in the Hospice and in the community.
The multi-disciplinary team is highly skilled, and the Simpson Developments team would like to pay tribute to the staff, acknowledging their dedication and commitment. They do a wonderful job providing support and care for infants, children and adults who are adjusting to life living with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, up to their death and into family bereavement support.
